Buying a home can be a difficult and sometimes overwhelming experience. Hiring a home inspector to evaluate the condition of the property before you buy can increase your comfort level and could increase your bartering power. Choosing the right home inspector can also be difficult. Unlike most professionals, you probably will not get to meet me until after you hire me. Furthermore different inspectors have varying qualifications, equipment, reporting methods and yes different pricing. One thing for sure is that a home inspection requires work, a lot of work. Ultimately a thorough inspection depends on the individual inspectors own effort. My average home inspection takes three to four hours.
